Joint PhD Jonathan Gabre defends his thesis
Jonathan Gabre has succesfully defended his thesis “Computational approaches to facilitate the identification of novel therapeutic targets in neuroblastoma and other ALK- driven cancers” at the University of Ghent.
Dr. Gabre has spent the last years of his PhD studies in Ghent in the of our close collaborator and, joint supervisor, Professor Jimmy Van den Eynden. Although exclusively a bioinformatician Jonathan also has been exposed to the wet lab experience of the Palmer lab in Gothenburg.
One of his acheivments has been to develop the web application CLEAN (the Cell Line Explorer web Application of Neuroblastoma) an incredible useful tool for the scientific community.
